Students Enjoy Dancing

Kimi Eisle was the resident artist for Creative Writing/Movement and Dance. Her goal as a teaching artist is to help those she teaches to see and express what they already have inside them–good stories, emotions, and unique perspectives. She believes that artistic expression ultimately helps us uncover the truth about ourselves and can empower us with confidence and self-understanding.

Diana Edeline, a Willcox Elementary teacher says “Kimi is an outstanding movement artist and inspired students to do their best.  Kimi was very clear with her expectations, yet she did not dictate to the students.  She allowed them to use her guidelines to find their own way.  I saw things from these students that I had never imagined they could do.  The did it willingly and without being self-conscious.  It was amazing.  Kimi inspired the students to do what they may never have imagined.”
